The first crafting idea is to take a picture of Gandhi Ji himself. Take plain white paper or a sheet of A3 or A4. Draw a picture of Gandhi Ji on the whole page with use of pencil.

After completing the drawing of Gandhi Ji's picture. Take either paper quilling sheets and tools or rough magazine paper. Now using paper quilling set take a strip of paper and stick it on the outline of Gandhi Ji picture using gum.

Now make small rolls of this paper and apply gum on the edges of Gandhi Ji pictures. Try attaching the little rolls to the borders and make some small pieces of that paper and sprinkle them inside the borders. This will be a good craft activity.

Another idea to do an arts and crafts activity is to make a Charkha, a symbol of independence from waste material. Charkha is a tool that is always available with Gandhi Ji. Gandhiji wove Khadi from this Charkha.

Draw a small circle of medium size. Now connect the circle with some ice cream sticks to form a Charkha. Additionally, what you can do is take a piece of wool and cover the circle paper with this wool and make it attractive by making a flower from the fiber on the wool and the circle. You can even decorate the popsicle sticks with thread, wool, beads, rhinestones or make different sizes and shapes of flowers out of paper quilling paper.

And another different idea to do arts and crafts on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti is to make three monkeys of Gandhi Ji. Gandhi Ji's three monkeys are in a way that one monkey cannot see, the second cannot hear and the last and third cannot speak. These three monkeys teach us to never see, hear or say anything bad. These three monkeys can be made using clay.

By forming small balls with brown clay. Moreover, by making thin and small hands and joining them on the sides of the face and covering the ears, mouth or eyes. After you make the monkeys properly, you can modify them to either a plain sheet or a board or any base material.

Another idea for a craft activity is to make a scene when Gandhiji was sent to jail and other people protested their arrest. This can be made either with a lump of clay on a thermocol sheet as a base, or on an A3 or A4 sheet in the form of a drawing and filled with either poster colors or crayons. Then it will look attractive and elegant to the viewer. Looking For Preschool Near Me
